When I gave birth to my daughter, I was given a large, fluffy blanket as a gift. Amongst our family, this blanket became known as the "magic blanket." For months, the blanket was never left behind as it was often the only cure for her tears. Wrapped up in the blanket, she would finally drift off to sleep in my arms. I searched high and low to find a spare "magic blanket," but the availability was limited to blankets barely large enough to swaddle an infant - and adult blankets with not nearly the soft, fluffy baby goodness I desired.
The Mama & Me Blanket is nearly 4' x 5', allowing both Mommy and Baby to cuddle under it. New mommies spend so much time feeding and snuggling with their babies, and often in the middle of the night, that there is no better gift to a friend or to yourself than a blanket that keeps Mommy warm too.
